FREE Macy's Downtown Holiday Trolleys

Houston’s Holiday Spectacular wouldn’t be complete without the FREE Macy’s Downtown Holiday Trolleys that provide visitors with fun and easy transportation between all of downtown’s holiday hot spots.  Two trolleys will run Friday evenings, and all day Saturday and Sunday, beginning Thanksgiving weekend and running through New Year’s Eve weekend. With 12 pick-up and drop-off stops, the trolleys allow visitors to park once and discover all of downtown. See the trolley schedule and full list of stops below!

Our special gift to visitors this season is FREE parking at the Macy’s Garage at 1100 Travis during trolley hours. Many of downtown’s holiday destinations are within walking distance of Macy’s or you can hop on one of Macy’s Downtown Holiday Trolleys to get where you need to go.

Parking

We want parking to be as easy as possible when you come downtown.  A few things to keep in mind.  First, on-street parking during the day is for "short trips"-- most downtown meters have two-hour time limits.  At the end of two hours, you will have to move your car.  If you are hanging around for the entire day, then we encourage you to park at one of the MANY parking garages and/or lots.

Parking on the street in the evenings (after 6pm) and all day Sunday is FREE.  The parking time limits do not apply.

Our special gift to visitors this season is FREE parking at the Macy’s Garage at 1100 Travis during trolley hours (see above- Friday evenings and all day Saturday and Sunday). Many of downtown’s holiday destinations are within walking distance of Macy’s or you can hop on one of Macy’s Downtown Holiday Trolleys to get where you need to go.

Lastly, be sure to read signage befoer you park.  Never park at a red meter (commercial permit parking only) or if there are red hash marks on the street.  Also, do not park (even after 6pm or Sundays) if a meter is bagged and says permit parking only.  You will get a ticket.
